Can I give you some feedback?
Can I give you some feedback?
Sometimes what you're hearing (or saying!) is not useful or helpful - but some sort of criticism hiding behind the more business appropriate term “feedback”.
🌟 What Feedback Is NOT 🌟
🔸 Vague: Feedback should be clear and specific. It’s not about making generalized statements but providing detailed insights.
🔸 Non-actionable: Effective feedback offers actionable steps for improvement, not just criticism without a path forward.
🔸 Personal: Feedback is about behaviors and actions, not personal identity. It’s about what was done, not who you are.
🔸 Public: Feedback should be given in a private, respectful manner, not in a way that shames or calls out someone in front of others.
At Inclusive Agile, we believe in fostering a culture of Psychologically Safe Feedback. This means creating an environment where feedback is constructive, supportive, and aimed at growth.
